Fibre Chemistry

Synthetic fibres often are exposed to strong mechanical influences, so that an increased abrasion can cause a loss in comfort. Silicones provide an improvement of these porperties and significantly reduce the ageing process.

Specific modified silicones significantly improve the behaviour of polyester fibres. Fibres are treated after spinning and get a bigger volume after mechanical and temperature treatment. The treated fibres have high elasticity and recovering properties.
