CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
At Schill+Seilacher, corporate responsibility is an integral part of how we do business. At the heart of this are the three pillars of sustainability, namely topics such as environmental and climate protection, health and safety, as well as profitability, compliance and high quality standards.
- Our philosophy and corporate action respects and reflects the well-known fundamental principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the OECD guidelines for multinational corporations.
- Our Codes of Conduct set out rules of conduct for internal interactions as well as for relations with business partners. These are based on recognized international ethical principles and conventions, such as the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
- As a manufacturer of chemical-technical products, we voluntarily participate in the EcoVadis assessment process and were recently awarded a Silver Medal. We have also voluntarily joined the
UN Global Compact. - We strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations and proactively review them on a regular basis.
- However, our understanding of sustainability goes beyond mere compliance with legal requirements. We take a holistic approach to sustainability based on the three pillars of sustainability (environment, social responsibility, and responsible corporate governance).
- We are a member of Chemie3, the chemical industry’s sustainability initiative, and, as a signatory to the Responsible Care Global Charter, we are committed to continuous improvement in the areas of health, occupational safety, and environmental protection.
- We are certified according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. In addition, we are committed to continuously improving our already high standards of quality.
